Due to volume and limited capacity, our Ground School orientations must start on time. Be sure to arrive 20 minutes prior to your start time. If you miss your mandatory 15 minute Ground School orientation, you will forfeit your ticket. If time allows, we will try our best to accommodate a second Ground School orientation within your scheduled booking time. However, if this is not possible, no refund or rain-check will be offered.
The Adventure Park design strives to be as inclusive as possible. Stay tuned for the completion of a short wheelchair accessible course. Please give us a call at 780-594-5564 for more information.
There is no additional risk to climbing when it’s raining, however, Kinosoo's hours are subject to adverse weather conditions such as wind, lightning, and precipitation. If adverse weather occurs during your booking, users will be moved to the chalet. Weather may be monitored from inside the chalet for 30 minutes. If the storm has not passed after 30 minutes, a rain-check will be issued at a later date in the current season.
We ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice to change your reservation time. Tickets are non-refundable. A rain-check or resort credit will be offered if you cancel within the 48-hour window. If you cancel after the 48 hour window has passed, no rain-check or resort credit will be offered.
The swing element is not included with your two-hour Adventure Park booking. Two guests are required for swing operation. You do not need to be wearing harness and the maximum capacity is 80 kg (175 lbs) per person. Maximum weight of both riders 160 kg and maximum difference in weight between riders is 40 kg. Guests must be at least 6 years old, 120 cm tall, and buckled in with assistance of a guide. When the two users are ready and the swing is in launch position, they will be given direction by the guide to begin their ride.
You can drink water on the ground level of the tower as long as you stay within the bark-mulched area around the base – your harness will still be required. If you need to use the washroom, let one of the guides know and they will help you take off your harness in a safe area. When you return, they will help you get back into your harness. The same procedure will apply to parents escorting children to the washroom. To maximize your time on the tower, we recommend visiting the washroom in the chalet before your start time. Your scheduled end time will not change due to breaks.
Yes, this is a safety requirement for every Adventure Park visit.

Yes! We have a fully equipped restaurant and bar service with a great view of the hill and lake. There are also picnic tables and a patio outside if you prefer to eat outdoors. Please find restaurant hours on the Restaurant page on our website.
No. We provide all harnesses for use at the Park; however, you are required to come prepared with closed-toe shoes, such as clean running shoes (crocs and other sandals are not permitted).
We recommend clothing that is easy to move in, such as athletic wear. Closed-toe shoes must be worn (no “crocs” or “walking sandals”). The Park's elements require lots of motion, therefore, dressing in layers may be helpful if you get too warm. Be sure to check the forecast – if there is a chance of rain, bring a rain jacket. Please be aware that the harness may rub against your clothing and cause small ‘pulls' in clothing. You are able to wear your hat and glasses/sunglasses at the Park. We strongly recommend the use of a glasses retainer should they slip or fall off your face.
We recommend bringing your own water bottle. You can leave it at the base of the tower for water breaks during your climb.
We recommend removing any jewelry prior to climbing. Please leave rings or any loose jewelry at home, in your vehicle, or in a locker prior to your start time.
Gloves are optional for added protection and grip. If you bring gloves, they must be sanitized before use at the Park.
While we work hard to minimize risks at the Adventure Park, there is some inherent risk when participating. All guides have gone through extensive training in order to minimize this risk and provide the best possible service in case of injury. There are also staff with advanced first aid training on-site. If you are hurt on the tower, but still able to walk safely, please notify a guide. We will provide first aid as necessary. If you are hurt while on an element or are unable to move, call for help and one of the guides will lower you to the ground where they can provide first aid and offer assistance as needed.
The Adventure Park offers a “challenge-by-choice" experience, which allows you to choose your own difficulty. You are welcome to complete your adventure at your own pace, but please note that there are many stairs and elements that require overhead reaching. For more information, please refer to the height and weight requirements FAQ.
Our harness and lanyard system will only let you fall a short distance before catching you. Once you are stable, you can climb back onto the element yourself, or one of our guides can assist you. If required, we will extend a pulley system and walk you through the steps to continue your adventure.
